I'm so back, guys! You probably didn't notice I was gone but I sure did. Hehe! In today's blog entry, I am going to review the most talked about makeup brushes and constantly raved about across the internet, the Anne Clutz Ultimate Beginner Brush Set.
Makeup is plausibly the best thing since sliced bread, but it's useless unless you have the right tools to apply it. If there's as right as rain and absolutely necessary in the makeup industry, I think it's having the right brushes to use in the makeup application. Using the right tools really makes a lot of difference and these makeup tools can honestly make or break our look.
If you are a makeup enthusiast like me and always looking for affordable makeup products, effective skincare regimens, makeup tutorials, first impressions and reviews then for sure you know who is Anne Clutz. Anne Clutz is a Pinay Youtuber who does makeup videos and daily vlogs. One thing I love about her is that she always gives detailed and honest reviews.
This set includes:
1. Powder Brush
- I use this powder brush to set my foundation. I like this brush because it's very smooth, soft and gentle plus the size is big enough to quickly go over my whole face.
2. Blush Brush
- One of my favorites. It works amazingly. With its size, it gets the job done more easier and faster.
3. Contour Brush
- I'm not a fan of contouring but I tried this brush and surprisingly it works greatly in blending out the product.
4. Flat Angled Kabuki Brush
- My personal favorite. This is what I use for my foundation. Even though sometimes it leaves my foundation streaky, still, with the help of your blending skills this will help you achieve a natural and flawless finish.
5. Fan Brush
- I use my fingers whenever I apply my highlighter. When I tried this fan brush it gave me minimal effect compared to what I usually do.
6. Big Blending Brush
- Perfect tool I use to create and blend over a simple or smokey eye makeup.
7. Eyeshadow Shader Brush
- I use this tool to blend the harsh lines on my eye makeup.
8. Concealer Brush
- I use this to apply concealer and to spot conceal blemishes. Too big but it does the job.
9. Small Eyeshadow Brush
- I use this tool to blend my eye makeup and to contour the nose and jawline as well. It won't make your makeup look too defined.
10. Small Angled Brush
- For me, I think this brush is too thick for an eyebrow applicator. I usually use thin brushes for my eyebrows so I can make precise lines. And another downside is that it doesn't have a spoolie at the other end for much easier application.
Overall, this is a good brush set for everyday use and I highly recommend this not only for the beginners but to all makeup junkies out there. And oh, do you know what's my favorite thing about this set? It's the price! 500php for 10 pieces of good quality brushes? Very affordable, right? This set is already a steal!
Here's the Anne Clutz Beginner Makeup Brushes, a 10-piece synthetic brush set. I bought it online for only 500php and it comes with a black pouch with a phrase saying "Blend now, Awra later!"
